The Christmas season is a time of giving and receiving gifts, a tradition that brings us joy and connection. Yet, amid the wrapping paper and ribbon, there is a gift far greater than anything we could ever find under a tree. This is the gift of Jesus Christ—the Savior of the world, God’s perfect and promised gift to humanity.
Over the next four weeks, we’ll explore this incredible gift in a series we’ve called “The Gift of Christmas.” Together, we’ll journey through the Scriptures to discover:
- The Promise of the Gift: How God foretold the coming of Jesus, bringing hope to a waiting world.
- The Arrival of the Gift: The miraculous birth of Jesus and its profound meaning for all people.
- The Purpose of the Gift: Why Jesus came and how His life, death, and resurrection transform us.
- Sharing the Gift: Our call to share the love and joy of Christ with those around us.
This series is about more than celebrating an event; it’s about embracing a relationship with the One who is the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.
So whether you’ve walked with Jesus for years or are just beginning to explore who He is, I invite you to open your heart to The Gift of Christmas. Together, let’s rediscover the true meaning of this season and the extraordinary love God has for us.
